I find it criminal some of the stuff casinos get away with. For example, verification. They let you deposit, then when its time to withdraw, they ask for all your ID, then take ages to clear it so you can gamble the balance, the rule should simply be, if you need to verify someone, they can't deposit until docs are shown. Another thing is 'pending deposits' what exactly do they need to check, aslong as its not a million pound withdrawal, then they know its fine, my old casino didn't 'allow withdrawals whilst another was pending' so in the 12 hours it takes to clear it, the money is just in the balance. I find it NUTS the gambling commission allow these crafty tactics
There are a couple of casinos around me that are about hour drives and I would like to know their rules before making the drive to play. Is there a website out there with a list of casinos and their rules, or is my best bet just to call a casino that I plan on going to and ask about their blackjack rules? For reference I live in Indiana if anybody knows which casinos have the best rules around here.
How Much EV do I lose as an AP with these casino rules?
Unfortunately i've been backed off from the 3 casinos close by to me. However, i've found a casino within a hour away from me that has decent blackjack, and the first time i went there i still made good money counting there. However, they have several rules that i've never had to deal with when counting and I was wondering how much EV im losing. The first rule is that there is no surrendering at anytime, for me I hate this rule surrendering on high counts saved me so much money so I assume thus rule alone is dropping my EV a significant amount. In addition you can't resplit your aces, this rule isnt as bad as the first but it still effects my EV, but does anyone know by how much, and is it still worth as an AP to play at this casino?
Vegas bitch smokes with her child around and refuses to listen to casino rules.
So this is actually a story from my dad because I'm underage and not able to gamble, sorry if the story is vague. So my dad was at one of the $1-$2 gambling tables mostly for fun, and I was in my hotel room with my brother and sister atm. My dad is there with 2 other people and then this women apparently approached the table, and wanted to join. There was a small problem with that, she had a daughter that looked like she was 6 years old. The dealer then said that she couldn't join with her daughter with her. The apparently got pissed and said that "well my daughter isn't the one gambling, how does it harm her?". The "how does it harm her" part was hypocritical because the daughter was getting exposed to second hand smoking from her mom so lol. The dealer and the bitchy mom got into a fight and the vegas bitch eventually got taken away by security. Not sure what happened to her after that, but I guess we'll never find out because it's not our business lol. I hope you enjoyed this small story, wasn't sure if it really belonged here but oh well!
Online casino reviews are the best place to start looking when selecting the right casino. You will find a lot of useful information on these sites which will help you in making a decision before you deposit. Many readers do not understand the information on each of the casino websites, however, I will be able to explain what each of them means. We'll start with the basic concerns that you should be aware of when selecting a casino. Is this internet casino available to your country? There aren't many online casinos accepting US players, but if you look around you will find them. Being an editor, I will only pick ones who are 100% friendly to US residents and accept Visa & Mastercard to be listed on my review website. You will discover this shortly after you try to deposit money. Some tell-tale signs are unknown deposit methods, such as "Skrill" or "Moneybookers" or "Eurocard". You should look for the more familiar logos like Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Pick one that you are comfortable with. There's no need for you to jump through hoops, or lose your money to some swindling scam sites. Take your time and pick one that is right for you. What is a welcome bonus? You should consider taking a healthy welcome bonus from online casinos when one is offered. Why not, it's free money, take it! If you read the fine print, pay attention to the details on these, as some may have higher restrictions than others for claiming your welcome bonus. A good welcome bonus is anything over $7,000. Most will say that the bonus is spread out across your first 2 to 5 deposits. The higher the bonus, the more payments it will be spread across. But remember what bonuses are for, they are to make you feel more comfortable in the event you are careless with your money, as most players are when it comes to gambling. If you play right, and spread your money around to games you know you have an edge on, this welcome bonus can turn into your winnings. What is an online casino percentage deposit match? Let's say you deposit $1,000 to your favorite casino, and the terms are 400% deposit match on your first 4 deposits, up to $8,000. You would see a total deposit of $4,000 in your account. If you do the math, that's $1,000 x 4. You will not be able to exceed $8,000 in matchups, so you could do the $1,000 deposit 1 more time to reach $8,000. This is how percentage deposit-matching works. Be sure to read the fine print before depositing your money to ensure you receive the highest match as possible. You will need all the money possible to leverage yourself when the odds turn against you, so you can have time for the odds to be in your favor. What is an online casino payout percentage? Not to be confused with withdrawals, this is the percent of wagers paid out to the winners, while the remaining percent goes to the casino. An acceptable payout percentage would be above 97%. This means that the online casino will keep 3% of all wagers made. If you were to find one above 98.5%, this would be ideal. Each online casino website will disclose their payout percentages. You can find a lot of this information as well in online casino review websites. What kind of support and customer service options is available? This is actually very important to consider. What happens if you deposit money and some or all of the games are not working? You will need to be able to contact someone at the online casino by phone or live chat to discuss the problem. It might be a good idea to hit the "Live Chat" button on the online casino's website and see who answers! Find out what kind of options their casino offers, and how helpful they are with troubleshooting. Make sure the casino you choose is 24 hours, since not all online casinos are run in your time zone. What kind of game selection is there to choose from? You should check to make sure there are plenty of games. Pick ones you are familiar with. If you want to learn to play, then you should choose the "Fun" option when using the casino's software or website portal. I find that playing blackjack, poker and other games where more strategy is involved will make my winnings more of a reality. Many people have fun playing slots, but I want to earn a quick buck, not spend all day pulling on a lever for random chance. You can get lucky with slots, but if I wanted to play just for fun, I would play in "fun" mode! Play something that you can at least feel dignified in the event you take a loss. How are online casinos rated? Online casinos are rated on a scale of 1 to 10. Some review sites may rate them on a star system of 1 through 5. To make it easier think of 1% to 100%. The Total Rating on a scale of 1 through 10.

BCLC and Parq Casino Rules on "$20 Free Table Play". Right or Wrong ? Please Read.
BCLC and Parq Promo?i was invited with this promo to the Parq Casino in Vancouver, i recieved this promo entitling $20 Table Free Play in return i had recieved a paper like reciept voucher to play at a BlackJack Table. I sat down and dealer placed the reciept and began to deal a 19 for me and dealer lost with 17. I was paid $20 with 4 red $5 chips. But she took my $20 voucher, which was given to me as a promo. i thought that was odd because that voucher either should have played on for the next round of black jack or until i lost my bet. Could i please have your input of how much i should have walked out with since i won or is BCLC correct to keep my initial voucher even though i had won? i feel something with BCLC and its promo rules is not sitting right with me., i would love to hear your thoughts. Thank You! I am still happy but its the principle of honesty from BCLC. I would love to hear your input BC? Thanks
What is the casino ruling if you Accidentally bet over the table max?
There are some lowish stake tables at one of the casinos I go to. If I accidentally bet over the $500 max, does the casino have to honor the bet if I accidentally put say $600 and the dealer doesn't notice until after the hand has been won?
I'm in the BB with 88, EP raises to 25, folds to me and I call. I'm in seat 9, EP is seat 2, let's call him John and he's a dealer in the poker room. After the flop (A K 4), I look up at seat 2 which was partially blocked due to the orientation of the table and there is a different guy sitting there with John behind him standing up. Confused, I asked if he was a new player. Nobody, including the dealer, had mentioned anything before the deal if the hand and John explained that this guy is playing John's chips for an orbit because he was going for a smoke break. Again confused, I have the dealer call the floor and explain this. Apparently, the casino has a rule that another player is allowed to play the chips for one orbit if nobody objects. Nobody at the table had heard of this rule before and the dealer didn't say anything before dealing. I hadn't noticed before the deal of the hand, but I would have objected then. Now, it's too late according to the floor person because calling the preflop raise "accepted the action." So I ask him if he wants to chop the pot or check it down. He doesn't say anything, I check, he bets and I fold, clearly caught off guard with this unusual rule. After John sits back down in his seat, he says something to the effect that I was angling by calling preflop, missing the flop and then objecting to the rule. I think he is poorly representing himself and the casino by making this accusation. What do you all think? Would it be petty of me to not tip this dealer in the future? Tl/dr: different player playing in seat for an orbit, bizarre rule allows this, I didn't object until after the flop when I first noticed, accused of angling by original player who is a dealer at poker room
Hi All My local casino has a few rules which I have never really seen before: 1.) If you expose any card whatsoever, during any hand, even heads up, it is considered "Angle Shooting" and your hand will be declared dead. 2.) An All In bet out of turn is not enforced (wtf?) 3.) They don't allow the small blind and big blind to chop in cash games. 4.) You get a verbal warning for speech play even when you are heads up. They don't disallow it totally, you just get told off for making a speechplay in some weird classroom like manner. Anyone have any views on these rules? The one I hate the most is all in bets not enforced out of turn. Thats straight up wrong.
Tournament Casino Rules (live) for intentionally showing un-mucked cards
BLINDS: 10k, 20k. 10 PLAYERS (P-1, P-2, etc.) P-1 = Button. SCENARIO: Folds to P-7, who goes all in for 50k. Folds to P-3 (In the BB - 30k behind the 20k BB). P-3 declares he hasn't looked at his cards, and wants to have some fun. Cards are face down beside his stack. Turns over 1 card (5h). P-6 says, sternly "you muck." P-3 says "no I haven't seen my cards, I'm not folding." P-6 says, "it's the rules, you folded." A few other players chirp in uncertainly, "ya I think." Dealer says, "I've never seen this but I think it's a fold." P-3 responds "No, I still have my cards beside my chips, not in the muck. I want to play this hand. I haven't folded." P-3 spreads cards in front of chips, looks privately at unturned card (5s). Dealer takes the 5h into the muck. P-3 detests with "what?!" Dealer, "your hand is folded". P-6 says "look at the rules." P-7 shows one card (As), mucks, and gathers chips. P-3 calls for Floor Manager, who defaulted to the dealer and states "it's the rules." P-3 responds, "what rules?" and they agree to discuss after the tournament. Thoughts? ***EDIT - I didn't burrow through rule books to find exact verbiage, but it's to prevent collusion in tournaments (few can benefit at expense of field). Cash it's acceptable. I also read that as a general rule, hands are live until announced a fold, put in the muck, or timed out. Conclusion: Cash games are more fun than tournaments 😂
